Chimney Relining

One of the most important components of a masonry chimney is the flue lining. The most common material used as a lining for masonry chimneys is terra-cotta clay flue tile. In many homes, this flue lining has cracked or deteriorated over time and is no longer safe in protecting the chimney walls from heat and corrosion. Many older homes were built without a flue lining, allowing flue gases to penetrate the brick and mortar, posing a fire risk to the structure, and significantly decreasing the efficiency of the unit.

A new chimney lining system can improve the performance and increase the life of your chimney. As CSIA Certified Chimney Sweeps, we'll properly evaluate, size, recommend and install the appropriate chimney liner for your home heating equipment.

There are different methods of relining your chimney. We offer stainless steel liners as well as ceramic refractory liners. If you've been told you need your chimney relined, call us. We'll recommend a cost-effective solution to ensure your safety when using your fireplace.
